Brooklyn Wheatley

Assistant Director

Brooklyn found her passion for dance at the age of three. When her family moved to Nashville she began taking classes at Fellowship School of Dance. She trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary from the age of 7 to 18. While taking classes at Fellowship School of Dance she was accepted into their Senior Company to extend her training. With her time in their Senior Company she attended Dance Revolution, danced for children’s homes, churches, and nursing homes. Brooklyn will always express her gratitude towards her instructors from Fellowship School of Dance. 

While continuing her training at FSD, Brooklyn auditioned in Pauls Dance Academy’s Nutcracker. After getting expected, she played the roles of The Masked Dancers and Señorita Coco. During her last years of high school, she expressed her interest in teaching! She began assistant teaching within her studio to gain wisdom from her teachers. After Brooklyn graduated from high school, she got her certification in Leap and Learn Curriculum. With her certification, she began teaching at FSD and later continued her career at Ballet Adora. Brooklyn has now been a part of Ballet Adora staff as an Instructor for the past 4 years! 

While teaching, Brooklyn has kept up her training with various studios and companies. In the Fall of 2021, after dancing for Bethel World Outreach, she got asked to be a part of Ellie Holcomb’s upcoming music video. With excitement, Brooklyn began working as a lead dancer in Ellie Holcomb’s, “I Will Carry You” music video. In the summer of 2022, she attended New Dialects summer intensive and danced with Ballet Esprit company. Continuing her training, Brooklyn danced the studio Laugh, Love, Leap in their Adult Company this past year. While she knows the importance of her individual training, her heart remains in teaching. She is beyond excited to start her 5th year at Ballet Adora teaching Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Lyrical, & Contemporary!
